Biththara was founded under Lankan Agro (Pvt) Ltd. with a simple mission — to make farm-fresh, high-quality eggs accessible to every household and business in Sri Lanka.

What started as a small network of local poultry farmers has grown into one of the island’s most trusted egg distribution and wholesale supply networks, serving hundreds of HoReCa clients (Hotels, Restaurants, and Caterers) as well as supermarkets and retailers.

We believe that quality food starts at the farm, and our name “Biththara” represents not just eggs — but a promise of freshness, purity, and trust.
